Staff Roster
For any team on a roster - simpler scheduling, less admin
The problem
Rosters scrawled on paper or juggled by text message. Staff never quite sure whose shift it is. Changes can create confusion and a flurry of messages going back and forth to sort things out.
What it does
Management sets the roster; staff see their own shifts. When a shift becomes available, staff can put their hand up themselves - no chasing or coordinating required. Any change triggers an email alert to everyone involved, including admin. Everything saves automatically, with no syncing to babysit.
Key features
- Staff set their own daily status - Available, Prefer Not to Work, or On Leave - instead of a string of text messages
- A live staffing balance for each day (required vs. rostered) flags gaps before the week goes out
- One-click "Copy week" duplicates a previous week's roster instead of rebuilding it from scratch
- Read-only share link lets anyone check the roster without logging in, PIN locks editing for admins only
- Staff can be added or removed from the team directly, as your headcount changes

Tube Bending Quote Calculator
For tube bending shops - fast, consistent quotes
The problem
Quotes built from paper, spreadsheets and gut feel - with a long run of calculations to get through every time, and no guarantee two similar jobs land on the same number.
What it does
Enter a job's specs once and get a calculated, consistent quote in minutes - the same method every time, so pricing doesn't depend on who's doing the sums that day.
Key features
- Supplier price lists and item numbers load straight from a spreadsheet - no re-typing a catalogue by hand
- One-click bulk price updates when a supplier's prices change, up or down
- Blocks a quote from going out with a spec that isn't actually in the catalogue yet
- GST and margin calculated automatically on every quote
- Internal and customer-facing views generated from one entry
- Duplicate supplier names merge into one with a click, instead of quietly fragmenting the catalogue
- Autosaves as you go - a quote in progress is never lost

Field test
SenseApp Prospector
For field sales and door-to-door prospecting — fast, hands-free notes on the move
The problem
A day of doorknocking or site visits generates a pocketful of scribbled notes, half-remembered addresses and good intentions to follow up — most of which get lost before they're ever typed up.
What it does
Log a business on the spot by tapping to speak instead of typing, pin its exact location with one tap, and see every prospect plotted on a map colour-coded by status. Follow-ups stay tracked so a promising conversation never quietly falls through the cracks.
Key features
- Tap-to-speak dictation on business name, address and notes - hands-free entry between visits
- "Use my current location" pins the exact spot with one tap, no address lookup required
- Map view colour-coded by status, from not contacted through to customer
- Milestones tracked separately from status - things like "Card delivered" or "Audit sent" can apply at any stage
- Each prospect can be tagged with which SenseApp tool they showed interest in
- Dashboard summarises the day's field activity at a glance - logged, interested, proposals, follow-ups due
- Backup (JSON) and Export (CSV) built in, with restore-from-backup to move data to a new phone
